Woke up to a stellar morning in the city with a still lit moon at 7 am.
I had a bunch of paperwork to do so naturally I procrastinated in the garden.
I seriously sheared back the rosemary into rounds...
and started to round out the tea tree and juniper between the lemon and apple tree -which will take longer to shape.
I have been recently looking at the gardens of the Belgian landscape designer Jacques Wirtz -who is know for his cloud bushes and the way his gardens are highly groomed but at the same time not.
I mean, how awesome is that.
love this spine of grass.
I like the way he uses loose grasses against the sheared forms, which is what I'm going for with the maiden grass (which will get huge) I planted between the rosemary rounds this summer.
