Keeping A Schedule

One of the things we do to help Kit is to keep a big general visual schedule.  Kit is still learning the concept of time and delayed gratification so this is a way for him to learn what "tomorrow" or "this weekend" means, or that he may get to do something he wants but that he may have to wait to do it.  This helps him to manage his anxiety over things like when he gets to go swimming, whether tomorrow is a school day or what we are doing on the weekend.  Each evening we cross of the day and talk about what is coming up the next day.

Yesterday I made the preliminary October calendar which I will fill in with more pictures of activities once I confirm his new fall swimming schedule.
