Portlandia

Ethan had the day off from school but Kit did not so the two of us took a long toodle down Valencia Street.

Our favorite part was this hippy-dippy store we'd never been to before.

It was chock-a-block with herbs, lineaments, crystals, candles and soaps....just our kind of place.

 We bought some candles and matches.

And of course, we couldn't resist these crystals -for centering, fortitude, courage and getting projects underway- and some awesome smelling soap and aromatherapy spray (aka room deodorizer).

Hopefully our crystals will bring us better luck than sylvester's did...he spent a long time as a rock.

Funnily, kit came home with a tattoo that day.
