Sunday in Monterey

Ethan is racing in the NorCal High School Cycling League and he had his first race this weekend down in Monterey. 

Ethan is wearing the black swobo shirt with blue arms.

It was Ethan's first race, ever.  He did great. He rode in the Frosh race and finished fourth in his heat and fifth combined (out of about 60 riders).

After the race we went to Asilomar beach, which has to be one of the most beautiful beaches in California. 

It has very fine, white, white sand. And it is pristine.

 You can always entice Calvin by silly little digging games.
