Guerilla Weathervane

Ethan has been making these windmills/weathervanes for about a year now. This one is mounted really high at the rear of the yard on top of the shed. For some reason I find them quite beautiful even though they are made from the most rudimentary materials. They just spin and spin and spin in our San Francisco weather.

Ethan has been eyeing a spot down at Ocean Beach that was prime for a little guerilla installation. We did it in broad daylight on Monday so it couldn't have been all that bad. It looks fantastic and is still there five days later...

We'll see how long it lasts before the NPS removes it.
