Fiddle Fig Tree

It was my birthday last week and I wished for a fiddle fig tree for our bedroom. 

On Sunday the whole family went over to Flora Grubb -the most beautiful nursery in San Francisco, and picked up this guy. 

I am so so happy with the way this looks. It should do very well here as it is a diffused southern exposure.  

The fiddle fig is replacing this dracaena marginata.  I'm not sure where this is going to go because its droop makes it hard to place. It is obvious in this picture that this plant was not right for this container.  I'd like to find another vintage box to plant it in like I did here.

I can see why these trees are so ubiquitous in interiors images; they really dress up a place. I am in love with this tree!
