Oliver's mom recently sent us this carpet from her collection.
What a lovely surprise! I love, love, love it.
Nobody freak out! This is just borax, which I used to freshen it. Just sprinkle it on and leave it for as long as your patience lasts (a few hours in my case), then vacuum.
I was previously contemplating getting some cowhides in here, but am thinking this little colorful rug livens things up nicely.

For killing odor, yes. I've also done the trick where you dampen the item first then add the borax and let it dry and then vacuum. -Caitlin
