Ever-lasting Soap Dispenser

I have one of those built in soap dispensers in my kitchen. I like the convenience and uncluttered look of this system but it does have a major drawback... the doh factor when the soap runs out (I hate it when this happens). 

My contractor had long ago told me about this trick so today on a trip to Costco, I bought this ginormous jug of detergent.

I bought some vinyl tubing at my neighborhood hardware store. I brought the dispenser part with me to make sure I got the right size tubing for the plastic straw.

 I cut the squeeze portion off of the jug cap with a hacksaw.

This so totally works. I wonder how many months of carefree suds I have ahead of me?
