Welcome back to week three of the One Room Challenge link event hosted by Linda at Calling it Home. If you are unfamiliar with this site, do check it out as there are many, many great blogs and projects to see and discover. It's astounding.
OK so let's get down to business. In reality this one room challenge has morphed into a whole house challenge for me. That's not really a good thing. Let me back up and explain.
Part of the master plan is to move a longer, narrower table that is currently in the living room up here.
This is she. It is a great 8 footer that was one of my best all time ever street finds here in SF. It came out of a school and had linoleum on the top which I took off.
Anyway, no one was too psyched for this cabinet to just replace the long table in the living room so I thought maybe I could put it where the piano goes.
Thankfully that thing is on wheels.
I do like the cabinet here in the in the dining area. And I think it will look nice and cozy over there after I put the doors back on and style, etc. In case you are having a hard time making sense of all this, my main living area is a giant open space and you can get a better sense of the layout from this post.
So virtually no progress in the upstairs hallway and a big mess everywhere else… Two steps forward, one step back. You can see week one here and week two here.
Thanks for checking in :)

What a fascinating house you've got--and so much delicious light. "siezed like a Russian bank" --good one!
I know, it's like 112" long.
You have such amazing pieces in your home!
Thanks Alana. :)
I know! I was very lucky to inherit a few things last year from my husband's family and I have bought some things over the years in major disrepair which I have restored myself.
