Mural Preview

Well, Happy New Year! So far 2017 has been a bit rough for me, but I'll spare the details.

On the brighter side of things, I've been working on the mural in my laundry room. This is just a preview post. When I finish, I will photograph and discuss more in full. I know I've made such promises before -right now I have two other major projects in the works that I have preview posted about (hot tub, wool curtains) and not finished but I promise these are not dead in the water and I will be posting about them.   

I am usually a pretty good judge of how long a project will take but boy am I off on this whole laundry room project. The wall prep was really something and then jesus, has this mural require a lot of meticulous taping -there does seem to be some zen in it for me though so at least there's that.
